Music “In Da Club” – October 2013

There’s been some real ‘BANGERZ’ since the summer (see what I did there?), so as a result, we’d like to compile a list of songs you are quite likely to hear if you go out into the ‘clubs’ at the moment.

Get Lucky – Daft Punk

Just in case you’ve missed this on the radio, this is occasionally played in nightclubs. The youth seem to enjoy it.

I Love It – Icona Pop

This song is very difficult to dance to as it is frequently played way too quietly. Plus, the vocals aren’t really too strong.

Wake Me Up – Avicii

Yes, there are once again too many ‘i’s in that name, but this song makes you want to jump for some reason.

Blurred Lines – Robin Thicke

Apparently, singing songs about “the blurred lines of sex” is okay to do now, and playing them in an environment where people are close together and usually not so sober is an acceptable thing to do. It’s also now okay to put hashtags in songs, and this is irritating.

So yes, expect to hear those songs. Also expect another “In Da Club” article in a month or so.
