About

Hello.

We just wanted to let you know what the site is all about, as you’ve been lucky enough to click on this link, we’ll give you a brief history of the world according to “Lincoln & That”.

This website was immaculately conceived during a group brainstorming session in a Level 3 Online Module for Journalism students at Lincoln Uni. The five students in question are named at the side of each page, in a “sidebar”, if you will.

Our mission is to bring you the latest information, news and goings on in Lincoln in a short, snappy, and hopefully amusing way.

When we first mentioned our mission to our lecturers, they were all like “no way bro” and we were like “yes bro”, and then they let us do this anyway, and even if they hadn’t let us we probably would have done anyway cause we’re so cool, and we don’t follow the rules. Rules are made to be broken.

So yes, enjoy.

This website is lovingly curated and hand-made by Luke Botham, Gurpreet Kang, Richard Morris, Emily Normington and Alice Rose.

All articles on this website are owned by us (other than the hilarious images) and should not be replicated for any purposes, please feel free to share the pages and articles involved, but don’t pass it off as your own work. If we find that work has been duplicated then we will get very very angry with you and write you a letter to say how angry we are.
