This weekend will host the 11th annual Lincolnshire Sausage Fest (all puns intended).
There will be 49 stalls each offering a delicious bit of sausage action. There will also be some street entertainers and cookery demonstrations that teach you how to cook a sausage and give you the chance to make your own sausages.
Demonstrations will be carried out using ingredients that can be bought on the day and there will be recipe cards available for you to take home with you, if that’s kind of thing gets you going.
Last year, 25,000 Lincolnshire sausages were sold to 11,000 people, this year it’s hoped that even more will make the pork pilgrimage.
The festival is arranged by the Rotary Club of Lincoln Colonia, which is nice of them.
The operating hours are ten in the morning to four in the afternoon on the 26th October 2013 at Lincoln Castle and the bit outside the castle.
It is going to be a sizzling event (yes, we wrote that, we held off for the whole article).
