What To Expect From Lola Lo

On your way down the High Street, you may have seen promo folk wearing lovely red macs or gilets. If you take a leaflet, you may find yourself in Hawaiian themed club Lola Lo.

Open just about every night of the week, this small basement location comes complete with mirrors on most walls (presumably so you can make sure you still look wonderful as you dance), toilets that resemble a maze, a LOT of fake trees/plants, a few shrunken heads, some moai statues and a even light up dance floor. Due to being in a basement, it comes with a large staircase upon entry, so large, at times it feels like you may never reach the end.

There are 3 bars, each offering a variety of cocktails, (mainly rum based to match the Tiki theme)  along with the usual jagerbomb and vodka mixer options.

If being in a Tiki style environment with a variety of rum cocktails isn’t enough to fulfill your need for a themed club, head for the dress up room. In here you’ll be faced with a large treasure chest of lei’s, grass skirts and a selection of straw hats. You can wear all of these items until you leave, providing no one on the colourful dance floor takes a fancy to your new headpiece.
