A cheap bar is always a good place for students right? Well, if you haven’t found your perfect bar for cheap drinks in Lincoln yet then look no further, L4 is your place.

L4 has a selection of incredible cocktails (tequila sunrise being the best of course), and with a large cocktail being less than a fiver what are you waiting for?

I must warn you now that L4 isn’t a fancy, swanky, sophisticated bar. It’s rather plain with a dark interior, leather seats and sticky tables. The toilets are fairly dank and not many of the doors lock, – so ladies, please take a ‘toilet buddy’ with you to hold the door; unless you don’t mind the world seeing your unicorn knickers…

The music might be an acquired taste for some people. I’ve taken a few friends there who have turned their noses up at it. To be fair though, they were just fussy buggers. L4 tends to vary between music. So expect to be sipping on a Zombie (which is delicious by the way) listening to Fall Out Boy’s ‘Dance, Dance’ and then ‘Starships’ come blasting out of the speakers afterwards.

So for a cheap and fairly chilled out evening, L4 might be the bar the for you. Monday holds their ‘open mic’ nights and Tuesdays are great for students (who can turn down a £1 tequila shot?!). Get yourselves down there and have a beverage (or two, or three…).
