A hot bath during winter is one of the most luxurious things. Coming in from the cold at Christmas time and having a good soak surrounded by bubbles. I can’t think of anything better and yes that is the girliest thing I’ve ever said…
Anyway, for those of you that are massive bath fans like myself, Lush’s Christmas collection may just be for you.
With their own invented fragrances and vegetarian products, Lush believe in selling items which are free from animal testing.
If that doesn’t ignite the eco-friendly warrior from within you, then have a look at some of their seasonal goodness:
- “The Christmas Penguin” – the name speaks for itself. Christmas + penguins = guaranteed happiness. Just look at their little misshapen triangular bodies. Aww.
- “Cinders” – it smells of cinnamon (could you have a more Christmassy scent?) and it has popping candy in it. What’s the purpose of the popping candy you ask? It’s to give the crackling sound like a fire. Fire and cinders see? Oh Lush, you so funny.
- “Celebrate” – a lovely body lotion that has the scent of cognac oil. It smells so divine you’ll want to roll it in (seriously).
And here are some of the products that are a little, well, odd:
- “Candy Mountain” – yes I know the first thing you thought of was this, and I do hope it did inspire the name of this bubble bar. It’s a pretty shape and colour, but the scent is kind of overpowering. It’s sickly sweet and is the smell you’d associate with an 8 year old girl’s bright pink, Barbie themed bedroom.
- “Bombarino” – I do not understand what on earth this has to do with Christmas. To me it just looks like a lemon with whipped cream on its head. It’s said to smell of cardamom oil though so at least it smells nice.
So yeah, all in all, not every Lush product is lush.. Just a warning people.
