So, the entire world is currently going mental about New Year Resolutions. “Yeah I’m going to be a completely different person”, “I’m going to be super healthy”, “I’m going to go to the gym everyday”, “I’m on a juice detox for January” etc etc. Yeah, yeah, we get it. New Year new you right?
We at Lincoln & That understand the whole wanting to change thing, but why do all the usual things? Why go jogging when you know you’ll spend most of your morning sat on a bench? Why diet when you know on day 8 you’ll be scoffing a McDonald’s cheeseburger? Here’s a picture just to tease you if you are dieting by the way.
How about trying something COMPLETELY different? You never know what might happen. Here are some of our suggestions for an extreme (we mean really extreme) change:
- Become dependant solely on bananas for food. Freelee the Banana Girl can show you how to eat 51 bananas in one day (no joke). She also eats a raw New Year’s Day feast consisting of mangos and papayas for every meal… So, if you want to become a fruit connoisseur like this banana girl then give it a try.
- Want a perfect body? Why not use Miley Cyrus as your inspiration and twerk your way to your dream body. No seriously, Twerk Out Fitness is a real thing. Have a look on their YouTube for beginner’s moves and “inspiring” videos.
- If you’re already happy with your body why not go the opposite way to fitness and recreate some Epic Meal Time recipes? From Fast Food Lasagne to Maximum Mac & Cheese. Don’t make more than one recipe within a few days of each other though, your heart might not be able to take it…
