So you want to look cool? You want to look hip? You want to shock your parents? Then getting a tattoo is the right idea for you.

If you’re wondering where to go, we (well just me) recommend Between the Lines as it is one of the best tattoo shops in Lincoln. (This is my biased opinion).

The studio is behind Danesgate and Moka off Flaxengate next to Café Portico. Or you can simply GPS The Terrace, Grantham Street, Lincoln, LN2 1BD. Just remember your GPS will not recognise this address till the third time you try it. (Otherwise it may have just been our devices, an iPhone 5 and a Samsung S3).

The great thing about Between the Lines is that they are dedicated to their tattoos and the pricing is reasonable. They don’t have hourly rates as they say on their Facebook Page:

“We believe that each tattoo we create needs to be our best….and as such we never rush our work.”

Isn’t that grand? Yes, yes it is very grand and worth its pennies. (You can see my tattoo below).

The brilliant thing is they will either charge you by the piece in a single sitting or full day sitting for £200. Small deposits will be taken.

So if you have tattoo idea or just want one, why not just go in. They are a friendly bunch.  Just don’t say “I want to get inked.” It’s not cool. Not in any universe.
