The time is nearing and the Doctor must lapse into his own timeline once again. Its time he met himself and himself. I’m talking about the 50th anniversary folks. (Come on, BBC has been promoting it for a month).
In the last episode of Doctor Who, the Doctor was dying in his own grave because the Great Intelligence had entered his time stream. He wanted to kill the Doctor over and over again. But fear not, Clara, the girl who lived twice, jumped in and saved him, but got stuck in The Doctor’s timeline. So then, the Doctor jumps in and saved a crying Clara who hugged him and said “I’ve seen all the different versions of you except for one.” (Or something on the lines of that). And the figure turns around and it turns out to be John Hurt, ‘The War Doctor.’
So back to present time, we get to see Tennant or ‘Ten-inch’, Matt Smith and John Hurt all fighting the Daleks in the great Time War or something like that (I hope). Also you can’t forget Rose and Clara.
However, before you decide to tune into Doctor Who tomorrow, please watch the prequel/mini episode ‘The Night of the Doctor.’ It stars the eighth doctor, Paul McGann and explains why John Hurt is called the War Doctor .
Therefore if my enthusiasm has not riled you up then just watch these epic trailers.
We have trailers one and two for you to watch.
Trailer 1
Trailer 2
Tune in tonight at 7:50pm on BBC 1 and get your sonic screw drivers ready, allons-y.
